He Tour del Carlit It is a beautiful five-day tour through the Eastern pyrenees, in which we will have the opportunity to surround, and in the last stage to ascend, The mythical Pico Carlit, coveted summit in the world hiker both in Catalonia as in the south of France for being the highest summit of the Eastern pyrenees.

At every stage, we will be able to contemplate endless lakes of glacial origin, through high mountain trails that will travel Wildlife Reserves, Natural parks and places with high ecological value due to the flora and fauna that inhabit them.

Our adventure will run through the French departments of the Pyrenees Orientals and the Midi- Pyrénées.

Day 1. La Bullosa-Camporrels Refuge

We will start our exciting tour in La Bullosa from where we can already see the Carlit, that we will ascend the last day. Our path will cross meadows and lakes with the watchful eye of the silhouette of the Perics. At the end of our stage we will reach the refuge of Camporrells privileged mirador from the Eastern Pyrenees.

Day 2. Refugio Camporrels-Refugio en Beis

Today we will cross the border between the Capcir and the Ariège, natural passage with great views on both sides. We will have beautiful views over the Dent d’ Orlu, emblematic summit of the Valleys of Ax . At the end of the day we will go through Orlu National Wildlife Reserve where we will find our refuge today: And Beis.

Day 3. In Beis-Les Vésines

On today's tour we will be able to contemplate beautiful pictures of the great Lanós Lake, he Puig Pedrós de Lanós, he Puig de Coma d’Or, and of course, our protagonist: the Carlit, that we already have closer to his final ascent. At the end of the day we will reach the beautiful Refugio by Les Vésines where we will regain strength for the last part of our trek.

Day 4. Refugio Les Vésines- La Bullosa

In this beautiful and demanding stage we travel, the lonely man Pedrós Circus and its many mountain lakes, going through the Portela de Lanós and the Coll de Coma d’Anell until reaching the Gravel Eat, a long glacial valley that will take us to the Bullosa lake.

Distance 18 km Elevation +944 m Desnivel -1000 m Estimated time 7:30 hour

Day 5. La Bullosa-Carlit-La Bullosa

From this lake our course will change to the west and we will continue along a valley floor. We will continue skirting lakes and finally we will gain height. The views towards our rear will allow us to see the panorama little by little. Our path will leave the valley floor and progress between stones. Backwards we can see the reflection of the sun in the different lakes, where the one of the B stands outouillouses for its size. In the last 300 meters of unevenness we will advance through rocky terrain, sometimes helping us by the hands, until we reach the top of the Carlit (2921 m). We will rest and enjoy the panorama.

The descent will take the same path in reverse, but in the area of ​​the lakes we will take an alternative, so we will see a different path on the way back, slightly shorter than upstream. Our path will end again where we started.

Necessary material:
