The General Conditions described here are in accordance with current legislation, being subject to the provisions of the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 that consolidates in a single text the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users. These General Conditions apply to all events organized by Muntania Outdoors, S.L. and together with the particular Conditions that appear described in the detailed program of each event, are delivered to the customer and act as the final contract. All aspects not reflected in these general conditions will be governed by current legislation.
1 – ORGANIZATION
The organization of these events (package tours and courses) has been made by Muntania Outdoors, S.L. with title-license of CICMA travel agency 2608, with CIF B86305265 and registered office at C / de las Cruces Nº1-Bloque 2 – 2ºC Navarejo Urbanization 28491 Navacerrada, Spain. 2 – ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL AND SPECIFIC CONDITIONS
The contracting of any event implies the acceptance of each and every one of the general and particular conditions of the event. A) Yes, at the time of booking the event, the client must accept these General Conditions by checking the option “I read and accept the General Conditions of Muntania Outdoors, S.L.” that appears in the purchase form of the website. 2.1 – COVID-19
Due to the exceptional situation that has caused COVID-19, for trips contracted from 20 May and that take place between July and September, in case the trip has to be canceled because there is a setback in mobility caused by an increase in positives from COVID-19, the cancellation will have no costs for the client.

3 – PRICES
The services included in the final price of the event are indicated in the detailed program. The final price indicated includes taxes. In general, and unless otherwise indicated in the detailed program, the final price of the event does not include:
- Transportation necessary to arrive and return to the starting and ending points of the event respectively (see section 11 – TRANSPORTATION CONTRACTED TO THIRD PARTIES).
- Visas for the countries visited during the event.
- Vaccination certificates for the countries visited during the event.
- Entrance to monuments, National Parks, etc.
- Rental of material to carry out the activity or activities of the event.
- Rescue in the event of an accident and any additional expenses that it may generate (see section 10 – INSURANCE).
- Extras such as coffees, wines, spirits, mineral waters, special diets, not even in the cases of full board or half board.
- Optional hotel services.

The independent services provided by third parties that MUNTANIA may suggest as optional in the detailed program of an event, such as transportation, excursions or visits, are outside the original contract. The publication of these suggestions in the detailed program is for informational purposes only and prices are estimates., MUNTANIA not being responsible for possible variations thereof. Increase
4 – REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION PROCEDURES
4.1 Enrollment procedure
a) Reservation
An event can be booked from the moment its detailed program appears published on the WEBSITE.. In order to make the reservation it is necessary to be a REGISTERED USER of the WEBSITE (see section 1 – CONDITIONS OF ACCESS AND USE of the General Conditions of Use of the Muntania Outdoors website, S.L.) and it does not imply any cost for the client. The reservation is made using the form designed for this purpose, which is accessed from the link "Book now" of the detailed program of the event..
b) Reserve confirmation
Confirmation of the reservation must be made once MUNTANIA verifies that the minimum group established for the event has been reached. The confirmation of the reservation supposes for the client the payment to MUNTANIA of:
- he 30% of the amount of the event price.

- he 100% of the amount of the event price (the registration being liquidated).
In any case, if the client wishes to contract an independent service provided by third parties through MUNTANIA (such as transportation, excursions or visits) would have to add to the amount to be paid, he 100% the amount of the estimated price of the service or services to be contracted. Confirmation of the reservation is made from the website, through the link that MUNTANIA sends to the client by email. Non-confirmation of the reservation may lead to its cancellation.
c) Registration settlement
In case of having made the reservation confirmation by paying the 30% of the amount of the event price, Registration must be settled at the latest 15 days before the event start date. The settlement of the reservation supposes for the client the payment to MUNTANIA of:
- the remaining amount of the event price (the registration being liquidated).

Confirmation of the reservation is made from the website, through the link that MUNTANIA sends to the client by email. Failure to comply with these deadlines may lead to the cancellation of the reservation.
4.2 Cancellation procedure
Cancellation by the customer, of a reservation before its confirmation does not imply any cost.
The amount of the reservation payment does not return in any case, for minimum management and cancellation fees. Depending on when the cancellation of the trip / activity by the client is notified, the total expenses will be as follows:
- Until 10 days before the start of the activity, he 30% of the amount of the activity that corresponds to the payment of the reservation of the same.
- From 10 a 4 days before the start of the activity, he 30 % of the amount of the activity that corresponds to the payment of the reservation of the same + he 25 % of the tax base.
- From 3 a 2 days before the start of the activity, he 30 % of the amount of the activity that corresponds to the payment of the reservation of the same + he 50 % of the tax base.
- Eve or day of start of the activity, he 100% of the price of the trip.
*Due to the exceptional situation that has caused COVID-19, for trips contracted from 20 of May ,in case the trip has to be canceled because there is a setback in mobility caused by an increase in positives from COVID-19, the cancellation will have no costs for the client.
*Tax base: price of the signal-activity
Regardless of these penalties, MUNTANIA may ask the client to pay the cancellation expenses of third parties duly accredited through invoices if the non-recoverable amounts exceed the amounts
The cancellation deadlines will vary if the minimum group of the event is reached less than 10 days from the start date of the same. Then, when the minimum group is reached and before the reservation is confirmed, MUNTANIA will inform customers who have made the reservation of the new deadlines.
The previous penalties will not be applicable when the client subrogates their place, provided that the service provider companies do not prevent it and the modification is made with more than 5 calendar days before the event start date.
In any case, if the client had contracted through MUNTANIA an independent service provided by third parties (such as transportation, excursions or visits) it would be the client who would manage any matter related to the cancellation of the contracted. Increase
5 – PROGRAM ALTERATIONS
MUNTANIA undertakes to provide its clients with all the contracted services with the stipulated conditions and characteristics., all according to the following points:
a) In the event that before the start date of the event MUNTANIA is forced to significantly modify any essential aspect of the contract, including the price, MUNTANIA must notify the client immediately. In such a case, and unless the parties agree otherwise, the client may choose to:
1) terminate the contract without any penalty.
2) accept a modification of the contract in which the variations introduced and their impact on the price are specified.
The client must communicate his decision, whatever it is, within three days from the date of notification of the modification. In the event that the client does not communicate his decision within the indicated period, it will be understood that you accept the modification. The client will have the right, from the moment the contract is terminated, to the reimbursement of all amounts paid under it.
b) The client, when you accept the contract conditions, it does so with full knowledge that any activity in nature can lead to unforeseen changes in the event program, and therefore accepts under its entire and sole responsibility the possible consequences that may occur as a result of such changes.
c) After the departure of the MUNTANIA event they reserve the right to alter, change or omit without prior notice any part of the itinerary, lodgings, transport, etc. for logistical reasons, weather or security. Increase
6 – CANCELLATIONS
In the event that before the start date of the event MUNTANIA is forced to cancel the event for any reason that is not attributable to the client, he will be entitled to reimbursement of all amounts paid under the contract, from the moment the contract is terminated.
There will be no obligation on the part of MUNTANIA to indemnify the client in the following cases:
a) When the cancellation is due to the fact that the number of people registered in the event is less than that established by MUNTANIA and this is communicated in writing to the client before the deadline set for this purpose in the contract.
b) When the cancellation of the trip is due to force majeure reasons, understanding by such those circumstances alien to the one who invokes them, abnormal and unpredictable, whose consequences could not have been avoided, even despite having acted with due diligence.
In no case the independent services provided by third parties, therefore not included in the contract between the client and MUNTANIA, will be the responsibility of MUNTANIA, There is no obligation to compensate in case of cancellation of the event for the amounts that the client could have paid for these services. Increase
7 – ADMISSION RIGHTS
MUNTANIA reserves the right of admission or participation in an activity, even once started, of those people who, due to an inadequate physical condition or technical training, prevent the normal development of the activity or endanger their physical integrity, that of the rest of the participants or that of the guide or guides of the activity. 8 – VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL OF THE CONTRACTED SERVICES
In case the client voluntarily chooses to leave the event, He is obliged to deliver to the event guide a signed document in which he declares his voluntary decision to withdraw. In any case, The delivery of said document cannot guarantee the immediate abandonment of the event and this will be subject to factors such as weather conditions or the availability of adequate means of transport..
The costs generated by the voluntary abandonment of the event for any reason other than accident, illness or other assumptions detailed in the client's mandatory insurance (see section 10 – INSURANCE) it will be at the client's risk and expense, whatever the nature of these costs (transport, accommodation, etc.). 9 – BREACH IN THE EXECUTION OF THE CONTRACT
The client is obliged to notify MUNTANIA of any breach in the execution of the contract, preferably ” in situ” or if it is not possible as soon as possible, in writing or by any other form that leaves proof.
In the event that the client considers unsatisfactory the solutions proposed by MUNTANIA to resolve the reported breach, he will have the term of 1 month to claim before MUNTANIA which in turn will have 2 months to respond to the claim raised by the client, term that will begin to count from the day following the presentation of the claim.
The term to claim for the breach or defective fulfillment of the event contract prescribes two years from the moment the action could be exercised. Increase
10 – INSURANCE
The client is obliged to have contracted appropriate insurance for the activity or activities to be carried out during the event in which he registers.. If the client does not have such insurance, You can contract it through the MUNTANIA website. This insurance includes contingencies such as evacuation in the event of an accident., medical expenses, etc. (consult the particular insurance conditions). Increase
11 – TRANSPORTATION CONTRACTED TO THIRD PARTIES
The transports included in the price of the event are indicated in the detailed program of the event. In general, The transportation included is all necessary between the start and end points of the event.
In the detailed program of the event MUNTANIA usually suggests the prices of the transport necessary to arrive and return to the starting and ending points of the event respectively.. These prices are indicative and estimated by MUNTANIA and do not include fees or taxes..
In the event that the client requires the contracting of any transport not included in the detailed program, MOUNTAIN, in order to speed up and facilitate said hiring, offers the client the possibility of carrying out the procedure on their behalf. For this, the client must authorize MUNTANIA expressly and in writing (email). In this process, The final price will be the one stipulated by the transport company and MUNTANIA will proceed as long as the price of the transport company does not imply a variation greater than one 15 % of the price estimated by MUNTANIA in the detailed program. Otherwise, MUNTANIA will contact the client to request their acceptance of the final price.
This ticket purchase procedure by MUNTANIA on behalf of the client, It does not imply in any case that MUNTANIA bears any cost for cancellation, delays or any other contingency that may generate unanticipated costs, Without this implying that the client can request damages from the transport companies or other organizations involved. In the same way, MUNTANIA is not responsible for the cancellation by the customer of any ticket purchased from third parties through him..
MUNTANIA is not responsible for possible delays in travel hired from third parties due to staff strikes., closure of airports or stations or for any other cause beyond the organization and may not be a reason for claim for breach in the execution of the contract by the client (see section 9 – BREACH IN THE EXECUTION OF THE CONTRACT). 12 – LOAN AND RENTAL OF MATERIAL
In the event that MUNTANIA rents material to its clients to carry out an activity during an event, the price of this rental will be reflected in the detailed program of the event. Any damage to the material rented to MUNTANIA or loaned by MUNTANIA will be assumed by MUNTANIA as long as the client has not acted negligently in its use and conservation..
In the event that the client rents material to third parties, MUNTANIA will not be responsible for the good condition of the rented material or the good work of the rental company, even if MUNTANIA has acted as an intermediary. Increase
13 – PERSONAL DOCUMENTATION
All clients without exception must carry their personal documentation, original and current, necessary to travel to the country or countries to be visited. Minors of 18 years must carry a written permit authorizing them to travel, signed by their parents or guardians, in anticipation that it may be requested by any authority.
MUNTANIA is obliged to inform the client of the special documents (visas, vaccination certificates, etc.) necessary to travel to the destination, the client is responsible for obtaining them and the client assuming the consequences of not wearing them or of being invalid.
In case of any authority reject the required documentation, MUNTANIA declines all responsibility, running on behalf of the client any expense that originates and applying in these circumstances the conditions and rules established for the cases of voluntary withdrawal of services (see section 8 – VOLUNTARY WITHDRAWAL OF THE CONTRACTED SERVICES). 14 – GUIDES
MUNTANIA guides are qualified professionals with the theoretical and technical knowledge necessary to carry out the activity or activities to be carried out during the event contracted by the client.. The main task of the guide is to bring the event to a successful conclusion and ensure the safety of all participants. In this sense, Although all opinions on the situations that arise during the development of the event will be valued, It is up to the guide to make the final decisions on any matter that affects the performance or safety of the participants.
If inattention, by the client, of the guide's indications will imply an obvious risk for the entire group, for any of its members or for the same client, the responsibility of the possible consequences would be fully with the client.
The guide will have the power to request the evacuation of a client for reasons of illness, accident or for any other reason that compromises the safety of the group or the client himself. In this case, the client will not be able to claim the return., ni total ni parcial, of the amount of the event price, without prejudice to later claiming from your insurance company the expenses originated by such assumption. 15 – USE OF MUNTANIA PHOTO ARCHIVES
MUNTANIA will be the owner of the photographic files that it generates in the development of the events organized by it and these may be used on its website or in any other medium., to promote or sell their events to third parties or for any other purpose that it deems appropriate. The non-acceptance by the client of this condition will have to be communicated in writing to MUNTANIA. Increase
16 – USE OF PHOTOGRAPHIC FILES LOADED TO MUNTANIA BY THE CLIENT
MUNTANIA undertakes to respect the property rights of the photographic files that the client assigns to it in order to be used on its website or in any other medium., to promote or sell their events to third parties or for any other purpose that it deems appropriate. You also agree not to transfer these files or any type of total or partial reproduction to third parties.. Increase
